A group of us went there in order to support this restaurant. The food was great and with good presentation! Our waitress was friendly and gave the best customer service. The atmosphere is for the grown and sexy crowd. Good music!
I've been coming here often as of lately. Met the owner my first time she was super friendly and just trying to make it work one of her bartenders had a family emergency and she was holding it down (trying ) Every time I come they have something going on which I can appreciate. Having entertainment is always a plus when all I come for is the salmon bites OMG! I love them. Got to meet Chef Denise and gave her the compliment and why I keep coming back. Having a reason to come while still supporting black businesses is the ultimate goal. Why would I spend my money anywhere else. Sam is always my bartender and she is very attentive and always checks on me. Just don't ask her for no ketchup lol. I love it here
I had A great Mother's Day dinner. And free entertainment. You miss a great treat. Great people. The entertainment was outstanding.
Kiana was a great server!!! Kiana made a very tasteful Rum punch with Malibu Rum. Yes! She did that, the rum was good! The food was delicious. OMG! The salmon , mash potatoes & rice were so goooooood! The salmon was seasoned really well. The music was on point. Wonderful atmosphere. Great customer service. Looking forward to coming here again.

Want some good old Southern home cooking? This is the place to go! Everything is made to order, so be prepared to get a nice drink at the bar and vibe with the people at your table. My family visited for my cousins birthday. Everyone enjoyed their food and drinks. The loaded baked potatoes, crabe cakes, and green with turkey had everybody dancing in their seats. Lol. That's how you know it was good. There was also music trivia and trivia to engage with on the TV, which was very entertaining. My aunt loves this place so we will definitely return again soon!
I got our food delivered through DoorDash. My next visit, I will be sitting inside! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND! This was my first time getting good from GEORGE RESTAURANT. The food was IMMACULATE!!! We ordered the Loaded Baked Potato with Chicken, and Seared Fresh Atlantic Salmon, Baked Mac & Cheese, and Creamy Mashed Potatoes. ALL OF IT WAS SOOOOO GOOD. This was the best food I’ve had in a very long time! We don’t live far from here, so our food was still warm when we got it, but we warmed it up because we like our food hot. The seasonings, peppers, sauce, chicken, and onions in the baked potato all came together with such a wonderful taste. I wish there had been more potato in it, but the overall taste was delicious! The baked Mac and cheese was baked flawlessly. I didn’t taste the mashed potatoes (my husband demolished them before I could lol), but I’m sure they were awesome. The pineapple tea tasted exactly like the name, and the Shirley Temple was refreshing, bubbly, and sweet. Thank you for the wonderful food Chef Young! (01/20/2024) Got the Bread Pudding!
